Awesome Mausum!!!

Yesterday, the clouds were let loose by the generous sky, so that the land could feel the shower of the blessed rain. And rain it was that came and washed away, the precipitation caused by the dryness of the heat, filled with dismay.

There was a smile somewhere, streached after a long long time, overlooking the fields that were dying and had been dead for long, which when touched by the rain, revived like a phoenix, ready to bloom and dance with joy.

The trees looked like jewels, studded with precious stones....the water made them glitter like a Kohinoor!

The kids left their homes to be one with the blessed shower, jumping, splashing, having fun, to their heartfelt desire...

It was after a long time that my city came alive..........
It was after a long time that the rain fell with all its might........
It was the soul that revived and danced with joy!
Oh how beautiful it was to see ..A Happy Monsoon Sky!!

Glad to know rain brought so many happiness at your end. But the complete opposite happened here, in Dhaka. It rained so heavily that almost all the roads were drowned under water for the whole day. So many plans were canceled and we were stuck at home. :(

Hmmm....i liked your explanation...

Happy monsoon...

I feel that your so much realistic explanation did not go in sync with the pictures. May be you could have used much better pictures..

I feel the picture really has to go with the post. :-)

May be i am wrong. No Offence.

Hi Sana:)

I'm glad you started getting the rain. The initial showers are always welcome and every one enjoys it. The problem arises when it pours for two or three days continuously.

Children always enjoy rain. It is a great entertainment for them.

Did you try getting wet in the rain?

The photos are wonderful and goes to substantiate what you have so beautifully written. I wish they could be enlarged.

Perhaps some rain from Kochi has gone to your place. We are having less rain here and sometimes bright sunlight. If fact, I took the umbrella with me today when I went out but I didn't have to use it even once:) What a relief from rain. Please keep the rain there for some more days:)

Have a nice day Sana:)
Joseph

What a beautiful poem, welcoming the rain that sustains our Mother Earth. I love to see it rain, it seems I can see my yard breathing once again and my flowers faces turned up to receive the blessed rain. Thank you for stopping by, have a nice weekend.
