The lasting journey

There are innumerable journeys that we take up in our life, some rough, some happy and other filled with new hope. Each journey brings with it a new day, a new phase and something that we were unaware of. The journey called life is quite strange.Though we are aware of it, still it seems new every time. Its a continuous process, theres a journey of love, a journey of relationships,of care, and then a journey towards the ultimate. Though we both enjoy the journey and resent it at times, it is in our hands to make it seem new and exciting, with each passing day.
So light up the spirit in your journey and look forward to what it has in store for you with a big smile. The more positive you become about life, the better it becomes for you:)
May your journey be most fruitful and enduring:)

Hi Sana,

You have written this post so beautifully. Yes, the different journeys leave us with many emotions, and, as you have correctly said, a positive attitude helps.

Thanks a lot; and, have a great day :)

Hi:)

Greetings:)

You have hit the nail on the head.

What we need is positive attitude to carry on in this life which is always with twists and turns and not a steady straight path paved with smooth grassy carpet.

We don't have rainbows every day. Happiness doesn't last eternally. In fact, sadness engulfs us much more than happiness and remains a longer time. Happiness is short lived. If we have a steady mind and take things as they come with positive attitude we will have a decent smooth sailing.

Nothing lasts forever. Even the greatest calamity that weighs us down like a mill stone around our neck passes. Time heals.

Faith in God, enjoying simple pleasures of life, having a hobby, living frugally, an active mind, not neglecting our health, working with high aspiration with minimum expectations, being good to people at home and outside as far as possible without letting them take advantage of us etc. are some of the things which come to my mind which will enable us to steer this beautiful life in this wonderful world.

When we are young simple things make us happy. We don't need much. I have seen children in the streets. They don't have a roof over their head, they don't have a bed to sleep, they don't have decent clothes to wear, they don't have toys to play, and they don't get enough food to eat. Yet they have a good time and enjoy life as much as a child in a rich family.

As we grow older, our needs multiply, we want this and that, we want to keep up with our neighbors, we get into a rat race in the office, we want to excel and we don't mind stooping down to any level. I can go on and on with the list of things that we want and these things inevitably leads us to unhappiness, despair and depression and many other evils that are deleterious to our well being.

Therefore, unless their is a paradigm shift in our attitude we will end up in despondency and an an unhappy feeling always resides in our heart tormenting us perpetualy.

As you rightly said positive attitude and a big smile make this journey called life most fruitful and enduring.

Have a bright and beautiful day:)
