The right side of the window

Sometimes life seems to be like a parent and we like a child lying in a crib. When we cry, it makes us laugh with its tactics, like parents do when they shake a musical toy in front of a crying infant. Such are the ways of life that every tear is absorbed with a sponge of joy, and sometimes happiness exchanges its place with a pearly bed of tears. When we get too self possessed, its then that life shakes us up, making us realise that there is more to this world than the darkness within,we need to open ourselves in such a way, that when we embrace life, its positivity seeps into our soul, setting a ray of hope inturn lighting up the darkness that ever existed, in a way that our light outshines the rays of the sun. Its easy to be sad, its easy to crib, its easy to blame ourselves or others for our faults, everything that should be kept out of our reach, is kept well within our limits...we do reach out towards negativity and it embraces us in a jiff, but we keep positivity well out of our reach, making it impossible for its light to fall on us. This indeed is the story of our life where the fear of the climax makes us turn away from the movie.
Life isn't an easy path, but there are flowers growing here and there, in a hurry to move ahead, we forget to glance at their beauty.Life is more than just a path, its a journey that has beautiful sights on its way, if there are thorns on one side, there are flowers growing on the other, we just need to be looking out of the right window :)

A Sacrifice it was..........

"When you go home, tell them of us and say,
for your tomorrow we gave our today."
Sacrifice, a word that has selflessness written all over it, a word which when comes into action, overpowers every other emotion. Its a word that pumps in the heart of the world, giving away whatever it has in a fraction of a second. Its indeed the warmest of all human emotions.Be it the sacrifice of a mother, or a soldier bearing the piercing winds, it can never be repaid, its a priceless jewel.

Some nurture a tomorrow by sacrificing their today,
for some a sacrifice is all that they can give away.
A smile, a laughter is bargained with a tear, the world then fills up with joy and cheer.
For all the sacrifices that the world has seen,
its the beauty of selflessness that makes them pritine.
And as I stand today wrapped with the glory of the years that went by,
a sacrifice it is that has smeared my joy,
it has sealed it with an unconditionally nurtured bond,
I'm left amazed, is it really human?
Is it true that without a word, a condition, or display,
It was a sacrifice that gave us all a secure today....
I owe my life to the silent sacrifice,
since without it,
...................the world would'nt have been alive.

The Call from within :)

Its amazing how certain things we come across, just leave a deep impact on our mind, so much so that it forces us to think about life and how God created each one of us to spread the message of love , in our own small way, making us aware of his existence in everything that we come across.
Yesterday I read an amazing story that made me realise, how beautiful certain emotions can be , that just by their very existence , life turns into an everlasting treasure.

This story happens to be an eye witness account from New York City.
On a cold day in December. A little boy about 10 years old was standing before a shoe store on the roadway, barefooted, peering through the window, and shivering with cold.
A lady approached the boy and said, "My little fellow, why are you looking so earnestly in that window?"
"I was asking God to give me a pair of shoes, was the boy's reply.
The lady took him by hand and went into the store and asked the clerk to get half a dozen pairs of socks for the boy. She then asked if he could give her a basin of water and a towel. He quickly brought them to her. She took the little fellow to the back part of the store and removing her gloves, knelt down and washed his little feet, and dried them with a towel. By this time the clerk had returned with the socks. Placing a pair upon the boy's feet , she purchased him a pair of shoes. She tied up the remaining pair of socks and gave them to him. She patted him on the head and said , "no doubt, my little fellow, you feel more comfortable now?"
As she turned to go, the astonished lad caught her by the hand , and looking up in her face, with tears in his eyes, answered the question with these words:
"Are you God's wife?"

I loved the story, as it made believe that the Almighty has blessed us with a heart which acts as
an instrument to spread his blessings in the world. But even while doing so, he left the choice on us....the choice to choose to be the one who spreads love and is compassionate.
God can bless anyone straightaway, but he decided to make our life valuable and all encompassing and hence he gave us a heart, which would give out a call from deep within. A call that would inturn inspire us to do something for others. There are many obstructions in the path of this call, these are the barriers that we give birth to, when we choose not to hear the call...
I hope and pray that whenever theres a call from within, our soul embraces it with open arms :)

mY wORLD!

Oh! My Country, I am overjoyed!
Overjoyed at the fact that you are my home,
You are my world for me, for sure,
You are like the fresh drops of dew,
I opened my eyes in your arms,
you are where I want to breathe my last,
I moved on you as a toddler and then embraced the unknown path ahead,
There were moments when some made me feel you're not mine,
The moments passed but I held on to you,
Oh! My country, this is just a bit of my love for you!
I will strive to make you shine one day,
We'll share together, whatever comes our way,
I'll always hold on to you, as you've always held on to me,
You are an essential part of my being...
and on this Independence Day when we'd celebrate our freedom together,
Love would resound through the beautiful words of joy,
Saare Jahan Se Accha, Hindustan Hamara:)

Words

Words...a string of pearls that can describe life like nothing can. When we fall short of words its the silence that speaks, but words do have their own way to find an opening. Our thoughts, our imagination, our sensibilities, everything gets a new life when expressed in a beautiful chain of words. Even when we have nothing, we have words to express our feelings and desires.
Words, and its in these words that we carve out a world of our own, unique and distinct in its own way, its words that open many unknown doors.....be it a dreams thats fulfilled, or a paradise thats lost, an unfulfilled wish or a lost abode........be it those who matter and those who hide...be it a fairy tale or a demon's advise.....be it flat on the face or a subtle expression..Words build up a fort of thoughts connundrum.
Words are but our soul mates for life, they fill up thoughts in an unknown void.
