In this world where we are so caught up with the daily ride in the maniacal galore of our lives, God blesses our heart with a unique calm that we discover when we find ourselves at peace, this is God’s way of saying “I’m there”.
But what was that!! All of a sudden I could hear a joyous sound of music, it came from a source where I could see numerous faces twinkle with a smile as they moved, swinging to the tune of dholaks- It was the day of Dushera ..the smile on the faces of the people and the great festive spirit were quite contagious. Wherever we may be, we can always manage to find a festive chord that reminds us of celebrations back home.
(Though the sound cannot be heard due to some error, the vibes of celebration are quite stirring .)

There is poetry in your prose. Beautiful indeed.
Hello Sana:)
Indian coffee house is a place I have been eating for decades now. The head quarters of the Coffee house is Trichur which is in Kerala. They have opened branches all over India. I have not only eaten in their branches in Kerala but also in Bohopal, Gwalior and Jablapur. They sell coffee powder also.
The Church is lovely and looks like a typical British type architecture. Visiting a church and meditating there in calms and soothes frayed nerves and bring immense peace and joy to the mind.
Oh yes, the joyous sound of music can be heard loud and clear. It is very interesting to see laughing, dancing and enjoying themselves.
I am sure you really had a wonderful day. Now that you have mentioned about Indian coffee house, I will be thinking of you when I visit the coffee house here in Kochi:)
Have a nice day Sana:)

Very pretty picture of the church. Most church's have a certain beauty in them, I enjoyed you post, it was well thought out. Have a great weekend.
There was a rhythm in your prose...as already mentioned by other readers I too felt the poetry in your prose. I read your post in a flow, without any break in it.
